In the afternoon of July 3, the delegation of the 4th China-Israel Investment Summit visited the People's Hospital of the city and reached a consensus on cooperation in the field of medical and healthcare.
Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the development of smart therapeutic areas, the application of advanced medical devices, disease prevention and health management, and reached a consensus on future cooperation in clinical research, science, education and research.
Most of the delegates attended the tour were heads or experts of Israeli leading-edge medical companies which covered the medical equipment, telemedicine, and intelligent hardware. Israel has a strong hatchery of medical technology and is the globally recognised leader in the innovation of the health industry. One of the three scientists belongs to the field of healthcare; 50% of research activities of seven comprehensive universities, ten research institutions and five medical centres is related to the healthcare field. There are many world famous healthcare companies settled in Israel.
Mr LU Ligong, dean of Zhuhai People's Hospital, said "at present, Zhuhai continuously aligns with the international healthcare standards. While continuing to develop medical services, the People's Hospital also explores for a better quality incubation platform and a science and education research base.
